Bonsai Museum
The Bonsai Museum was inaugurated in 1992 and is considered a pioneer in Spain. Inside awaits a collection of Bonsai recognized at European level, in addition to 400 years old olive trees.

Ralli Museum
At the Ralli Museum in Marbella you find one of the most important collections of Latin American art that exists in Europe. With many Argentinian art works, Dali and Maillol sculptures, among other contemporary artists.

The Old Town
The old town of Marbella is without doubt one of the most beautiful corners of the city; in the centre you will discover places worth photographing, such as the famous Plaza de Los Naranjos, Casa del Regidor built in the sixteenth century or the Town Hall whose construction was ordered by the Catholic Monarchs.
There are also some religious buildings like the Chapel Ermita del Santo Cristo de Veracruz, the chapel Capilla de San Juan de Dios or the most important, the church Iglesia de la Encarnacion at Plaza San Bernabe.
There are also worth mentioning the remains of the wall of the ninth century Moorish castle situated in the centre. On the other hand you can discover some replicas of sculptures by Dali in La Alameda Avenue, next to La Alameda Park. As the vast majority of Andalusian towns, the city has a bullring.

If you prefer typical fast food or more accessible dishes for lunch or dinner: Foster's Hollywood, Block House, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Restaurant Ali Omar, The Sushi Bar, Bodega Andaluza La Cañada, McDonald's, Burger King, Terra Sana, Cerveceria 100 Montaditos, M. Wok.
The name is adopted from the chiringuito bar of the same name, one of the beaches most frequented by young people for its relaxed atmosphere where you can sometimes listen to chill out music from the chiringuito and have a drink at reasonable prices.
Fontanilla Beach
From the urban area of Marbella, Fontanilla Beach is the closest beach and one of the most frequented due to its easy access for locals and visitors staying in the city. Of course, there are excellent restaurants and bars just a few metres from the beach.
Nagüeles Beach
Beach located in the Golden Mile, the most exclusive area of Marbella and therefore makes this beach a desirable place. Crystal clear water and clean sand are its main attractions as well as its promenade and the different services that are at your disposal. Although it is good, please note it is an expensive area.
Rio Real Beach
Rio Real Beach is not exactly in the centre of Marbella but it is at the entrance within walking distance. It is a coastal area much appreciated by all those who visit it. Another option for those tourists who wish to alternate between different beaches during their summer holidays.
Las playas cercanas a Marbella
The following beaches are well worth a visit and are all within easy reach of Marbella town, a journey you will have to make by road, public transport or by taxi.
Cabopino Beach
Cabopino beach is located next to the Port of Cabopino, just over 10 kilometres from the centre of Marbella. It is a considerable distance but well worth it. What is most striking and pleasing is undoubtedly its dunes and its appearance that makes it totally unique.
Playa de Nueva Andalucía
You will find the beaches of Nueva Andalucía just after the port of Puerto Banús, with very particular shapes in half moons. The sand is typical of Mediterranean beaches and the promenade is a delight with a multitude of palm trees all around.
Playa de Nikki Beach
The beach area of Nikki Beach is recommended for those that like to party, this beach has a reputation for just that, where parties with live music are held in a lively and relaxed atmosphere. It is important to mention that it is located in the Elviria area and if you’re looking for a great time this is one of the top places to be but be warned you will need plenty of euros!
Marbella Marinas
In addition to Puerto Banus, Marbella has more marinas, including for example Cabopino & Estepona.
Best places to enjoy the night in Marbella
Where to go for a drink in Marbella?
Marbella is well known for its nightlife and is famous for having good pubs and nightclubs to go for drinks, dance and meet new people. Regarding nightlife, Marbella can be divided into two zones, the pubs and clubs in the Marina in the centre of Marbella and those located in Puerto Banus, 7 kilometres from downtown.
Olivia Valere and Funky Buddha are always a fun night out, both located halfway between downtown Marbella and Puerto Banus.
Lemmon is one of the most popular nightclubs in the Marina of Marbella at nights during weekends, but you can usually enjoy a drink during the week from afternoon.
Lemon's strong point is that it has a pretty large terrace where to have a drink and chat with your companions and also has its own dance club room with a VIP area.
Le Sub is situated next to Lemmon and is another of the main places for going out in Marbella. It has a terrace and inside an elongated dance floor area.
Good music and excellent atmosphere make that Le Sub has large audience during the nights of the weekend, being one of the most recommended places at the Marina of Marbella.
The Buddha club is not located in the port but in the Alameda Park to the east. At any rate it's no more than 300 meters away. Normally they charge an entrance fee of 10 euros which includes a drink. The place is nicely decorated, spacious, with VIP areas and a very long bar where the staff will attend you. The music is good as well as the atmosphere.
Olivia Valere club.
An exclusive place where you can even see someone famous while enjoying a drink, dancing or while having a dinner in the restaurant. It also offers various shows and is one of the most popular destinations in Marbella at night.
The disco Sunset is another of the outstanding options in the Marina if you want to dance during the night in Marbella. However, in the Marina of Marbella are available a multitude of terraces where you can go for drinks, all beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas and excellent customer service.
Disco Funky Buddha Puerto Banus is also another attractive option for those who want to have a drink or dance in Puerto Banús. It is a disco with a nice decoration and good atmosphere.
Another area of Marbella where you can go out at night is Puerto Banus. At the seafront and around are available a lot of bars, pubs and nightclubs to enjoy the nightlife in Marbella. Of course, in Puerto Banus the price for admission to the club’s soars, along with the price of drinks.
