United Airways to triple number of direct flights between Malaga and New York

Great news for our American friends who are looking to rent or buy property in southern Spain.

United Airways is set to significantly increase its flight offerings between Malaga and New York, with a new daily service beginning on May 2nd next year. This expansion comes in response to the airline's successful operations during the summer season. They plan to triple the number of transatlantic flights from 52 to around 150 between Malaga and Newark Airport, and the service will commence a month earlier compared to the previous year. United Airlines aims to operate this route until September 25th using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

The decision to expand their services is a result of a 33% increase in demand for transatlantic travel, and United Airlines wants to cater to customers seeking spring season breaks in addition to the peak summer trips. This move offers customers more flexibility and options for visiting Europe.

Apart from their Malaga to New York route, United Airlines will maintain its three weekly summer connections to other Spanish destinations like Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife. The airline sees this reinforcement of the Malaga to New York route as a strategic commitment to the Andalusian market and further growth in Spain.

United Airlines is proud of its extensive transatlantic network, offering more direct connections to Europe than any other US airline. They remain the only airline directly linking the US with destinations such as Dubrovnik, Malaga, Mallorca, and Tenerife. This expansion aims to provide customers with increased flexibility and choices for their international travel plans.
